Lomans Music Online
Neil was guitarist in Brighton Punk Band God's Lonely Men in the late 90's and played all over the UK with the band before leaving in 2000.
In 2008 Neil decided after a long break from gigging to go out and start playing solo under the guise of Lomans. By this time his early punk influences of The Clash & Stiff Little Fingers were joined by the more Folky style influences of Robb Johnson, Wob and Tracey Curtis.
Neil wrote new material covering subjects from politics to relationships with his own blend of punk and folk on an acoustic guitar. At the end of September, Neil made his solo debut as Lomans at an all-dayer in the Duke of Wellington in Shoreham supporting many bands including Attila The Stockbroker's Barnstormer, I Ludicrous and Charred Hearts. In October, Manchester cult figure 'Guitar George' Borowski played two gigs in Burgess Hill and Brighton with Neil along with local favourites Pog & Wob.
Neil is planning many more dates in 2009 including an April tour with Pog and Wob and has recorded his debut single "Military Scrapheap" |
